PFTCs 1 and 2 were held at the alpine Ecosystem Observation and Experiment Station of Mt. Gongga, China (2015 and 2016).
PFTC 3 was held at the Wayqecha Cloud Forest Biological Station, Peru (2018)
PFTC 4 was held at the University Centre in Svalbard, Norway (2018)
PFTC 5 was held at the Wayqecha Cloud Forest Biological Station, Peru (2020)
PFTC 6 was held in in Aurland, Norway (2022)
PFTC 7 was held in Drakensberg, South Africa (2023).
